C.A.R.E. CENTER ANNOUNCES CHANGES

By A.Burroughs

Hello Parents,

I am so excited about changes at CARE Learning -Totally new as of September 2016. The same high-quality Private School services and After school Homework  and tutoring hasn’t changed a bit-but there will be a new name and  New Management. My name is Addie Burroughs, I’m the new owner and Judah: C.A.R.E. Learning Academy is the new name.

Now to your question:  “Who are you Ms. Burroughs?”

I am a retired teacher from Long Beach Unified School District where during my career I taught fourth grade up to 10th grade English and Humanities. I have an Early Childhood Administrators license and an Administrative Services Credential to run an entire campus-which I have done as Dean and Summer School Principal at Long Beach Jordan High School; and for 3 years I was an Adjunct Professor at B.I.O.L.A. University in La Mirada, CA. So, I have essentially taught 6 month olds to college students!

I have been a Manager at General Motors Headquarters and AT&T, both in Detroit, MI. I have owned a Christian Bookstore, a Summer Camp and Tutoring business, and I currently sit on various non-profit Boards and am CEO of the 501©3 of Lee-Burroughs and Johnson Education Foundation. And in my retirement I have written curriculum for my church’s Discipleship Growth Department and consulted on small business development.

So, Parents I want to meet and get to know each of you! I want your comments and suggestions, I want your “Wish List” for Judah: C.A.R.E.–The Private School & Learning Center.

CARE Learning Academy has a new polished look, a full service gym, enrichment programs and a vibrant education program planned for you.  We’re not bragging, but we look good!! Come See!

“ My life experiences, my career choices, business training and my heart have led me to this place in my life and in yours. Permit me  and our staff to serve you and your child.  We look forward to meeting each of you very soon!”…Ms. Addie Burroughs
